Construction of furnace equipment for the huge Eqlid Pars Steel project

A big step by MSA in the development of the country’s steel industry

A significant portion of the strategic direct reduction steel equipment, according to the scheduled timeline, was dispatched from this company’s factory to the Eqlid Pars Steel Company project site on June 7th of this year. These pieces of equipment, which include five main components of the direct reduction kiln (the main kiln, the charger, the dust collector, the cooler, and the kiln structure), were designed and manufactured relying on the knowledge and efforts of domestic specialists and represent a milestone in the country’s industrial and engineering self-sufficiency.

The direct reduction equipment plays a vital role in the production process of sponge iron and in completing the steel production chain of Eqlid Pars Steel Company. With the installation and commissioning of these advanced pieces of equipment, this plant’s steel production capacity has increased significantly and part of the demand from domestic and export markets will be supplied.

The Eqlid Pars Steel project, as one of Iran’s mega projects in the steel industry, after full operation, will elevate the country’s position in regional and global markets and will make a significant contribution to industrial development, job creation, and the national economy. The participation of the Machine Sazi Arak as a contracting, engineering, and manufacturing group in such projects demonstrates the growth of technical knowledge, engineering capability, and reliance on domestic capacity in the country’s heavy industries.
